Located on Old Mission Peninsula, the Mari Vineyards tasting room is complete and ready to welcome you and your guests. Sample our selection of wines while enjoying beautiful panoramic views of East Bay. We also offer wine by the glass both inside the tasting room and on our spacious patio. Be sure to try our unique Nellaserra wines which we think are among the finest red wines produced in Michigan. Our wines are stored and aged in our underground caverns and tours are available by appointment.
Enjoy 5 pours of Mari Vineyards wine. Standard wine tasting is available on a first-come first-served basis, and guests may be required to wait in line on busier days such as summer weekends.
*Wine by the glass, snacks and charcuterie boards are available for additional purchase.
Guests in groups of 15 or more persons are recommended to utilize this tasting structure. The Mezzanine offers guests to enjoy 6 pours of Mari Vineyards wine or cider for $15 + 18% gratuity in their seperately reserved tasting room. Guests will not have to wait in line. They will have their own private server on our Mezzanine level, which is below the tasting room and overlooks our production facility. They also have the opportunity to purchase snacks or charcuterie boards. Additionally, wine by the glass is for sale.
Guests participating in the Mezzanine tasting structure will be required to make reservations ahead of time to ensure this space is open. Guests will then be given a confirmation number through the individual who made the reservation, be that the guest or a tour driver. Guests without a confirmation number will not be permitted. If guests come in and a reservation has not been made, they are more than welcome to speak with a manager about the opportunity to utilize the reserved tasting space if it is available.
Groups up to 36 people can fit in the reserved tasting space. We recommend setting aside 45 minutes to an hour for the mezzanine tasting structure.
The Terrace space is the outdoor patio located on the upper level. The Terrace rents out for 1 hour per group of guests and requires a minimum of $150/hour be spent as the guest chooses. An 18% gratuity will be added on to the final bill. This space can occupy up to 10 sitting and 18 standing. Glasses of wine & food may be purchased at the outside bar (when open) or in the Tasting Room. The Terrace does not include table service. For $25, guests can enjoy a building tour at Mari Vineyards. This gives guests the opportunity to explore the building and have an in depth look at Mari Vineyards’ winemaking process. When guests visit, the tour will consist of traveling through various areas of our 31,000-square foot facility. The tour begins in the tasting room, where guests learn about the unique building. The tour guide will then take the group down to the production facility area and educate them on our individual winemaking process and the magic behind our one-of-a-kind wines. The tour ends in the wine caves where guests can learn more about our aging barrels of wine.
The $25 fee covers the full walking tour, with no wine or food included. We recommend setting aside 45-60 minutes for the private tasting and tour.
Enjoy a private tasting and tour at Mari Vineyards. The private tour provides an opportunity to explore the building with a tour guide and experience an in depth look at Mari Vineyards’ winemaking process. Beginning in the tasting room, where guests learn about the unique building, the tour will travel through various areas of our 31,000-square foot facility. On the production level, you will be educated about the winemaking process and the magic behind our one-of-a-kind wines. The tour ends in our underground wine caves where guests enjoy a private wine tasting among barrel-aging wine.
The $50 fee for the private tour and tasting includes a tasting, full tour, complimentary logo glass, and charcuterie. Mari provides one charcuterie board for every 4 people in a tour, up to 4 charcuterie boards. Additional food is available for purchase. We recommend setting aside 90 minutes for the private tasting and tour. Private tours require a minimum of 2 guests, and are limited to 18 guests.
Advanced reservations are recommended for private tours. We recommend calling at least 48 hours in advance to reserve your tour. Tours start on the hour and all start times are subject to availability, with the last available start time two hours before closing.
