Music at Mari: The Plumville Project
Friday, September 21st 4-6pm

The Plumville Project is a unique musical duo playing music with style and class. After decades of performing in different groups ranging from small ensembles to large jazz bands, Jerry Byville from Detroit and Jeff Hanna from Traverse City teamed up in 2014 to play music of many genres, including Jazz, Blues, Rock, Country, Pop, and R&B

Jerry began playing the trumpet at a young age. During his teaching career, he spent many years helping students play Jazz and Blues. Because of the physical demands of trumpet playing, Jerry evolved to learning the EWI (electronic wind instrument). This instrument allows him to play the true
sounds of trumpet, flugelhorn, saxophones, and flute with trumpet fingering.

Plumville Project’s sound is unique, but familiar as much as interesting and musically satisfying.  Click here for more information
